As our high school days come to an end, we all look back over the past four years and think “Where has the time gone?” Some may have loved high school, some may have done the minimum requirements, and some may have even hated high school, but along the way, we have all made friends and made some incredible memories.

Many of us have grown in different ways from freshman year. Whether it was “Becoming more outspoken, and not holding back,” like Megan Burge, a senior at GCHS or, “Being more outgoing and less rowdy,” like Dylan Biewald, another senior. High school shapes us into the people we become. Sometimes it teaches us the hard way, and sometimes it helps shape our futures. Ryan Earney, senior at GCHS, says he has toughened up a bit by saying, “I’m not a ball anymore. You can’t put my on my side and roll me down a hill.”

We haven’t simply changed on our own. There are many people here at GCHS who have shaped us into who we are. Mr. Neville influenced Dylan Biewald and Megan Busse to be their best, Mrs. Muskopf did the same for Megan Burge, and Ryan Earney’s mom pushed him to be his best. All of these people are the ones who have made us into the soon to be adults we are today.

All of the memories we made will last us a lifetime, and now that we are all going our separate ways, we would like to thank GCHS and everyone that was a part of shaping us into the people we have become. Thank you for the memories. Onto the next chapter…
