Gravel roads and, soot covered cars. my town was beautifully ugly. Colorful characters with ludicrous dialogue. Chaotic days that turn into lively nights. I cling to the reformed hope that had been passed on for generations. Spiteful hope for a better tomorrow. Paying no mind to looming failure, looking forward to dreams sprinkled in stardust. Dislike for city I call my home, pushes me to find happiness in different places. When time for leaving comes, I will not cry. My tears will not be shed for my place of torment. My tears will be shed for memories of youth that pull heartstrings. My city is ugly, but my memories make it beautiful.
