As you may have heard already, Hurricane Idalia has now hit Florida and caused many power outages, in which the number of will increase throughout the day. There is already destruction in the Sunshine State, and it will get worse as the day goes on. Today, it is a Category 4, and will have winds up to 121 mph, and hopefully will end soon. Some citizens of the state have been evacuating, to get away from the devastating storm. It is reaching parts of Georgia, including Valdosta, and is going east, crossing the US. Send your good thoughts to everyone in the South-eastern portion of the United States, and hope for the best for them all. As with local news, on Nameoki road, there is some construction going on, and they plan on doing work in other places around our city too. For local weather, it appears that we have another beautiful sunny day, with a high of 81 degrees Fahrenheit, and a low of 54!
