For those of you who are interested in learning more about different cultures and their language, this would be for you. Expansion in foreign language classes would be very beneficial to students as it boosts their cognitive abilities and reduces the risk of developing Alzheimer’s as you age. If a student were to go to a foreign country, they wouldn’t be so lost because they know the language spoken and would be able to communicate with others. I went to a school where everyone spoke a different language and I feel like it was very beneficial for me because I got to learn about other cultures and better understand them. The school was also beneficial in a way as making everyone feel welcome because of all the different languages, someone always spoke the language as someone else, making them not feel so alone in a school full of people that don’t speak the same language and understand how their culture is. Expansion on foreign language classes would also promote cultural awareness by promoting the different cultures and languages. 

We could offer a poll on languages students would like to have here at the school, choose two or three most popular languages and offer them to those who would like to learn. I feel this could be very beneficial and fun for our students as it gives them a challenge to accomplish and just having the knowledge just in case.
