St Louis sc being a very new club, this is surprising everyone with their impressive performances, but not the people of St. Louis. We’re gonna see why St Louis sc is doing so well, and who’s helping them to be the first club to win the MLS Cup.

The first reason why St Louis is doing so well is their head coach and style of play. Sporting director Lutz Pfannenstiel believes in a high pressing formation, so signing Bradley Carnell just fit. They both like pressing and getting more chances to score. Their tactic has led them to be 2nd in most goals scored this year with 53 goals, and 4th in shot attempts. Our tactic also allowed St Louis to get the ball in the opponent’s box more with them being 1st in goals in the box with 46 goals out of 53 coming from the box. St Louis restless pressing has led them to wear their hat, and will continue to until they win the MLS Cup.

Their second reason their doing so well is the players they sign in the summer window. A lot of clubs don’t really have a good idea who to sign, or what tactic to run. A perfect example is Charlotte FC, who was the last newest expansion club and already had two managers get fired or quit in the last three years. St Louis on the other hand were ready and knew who to sign already. Their first big name signing was Roman Burki, an very good goalkeeper from Dortmund, and probably one of the best GK in the MLS right now. The next one was Joao Klauss, a striker who had a decent career in South America, but came to MLS for a new change. Those two were huge for the club, but Eduard Lowen was a big pickup as well. Lowen is a midfielder who played in Germany, and never really got the chance to show his talent, but for St Louis sc, he is their midfield, and controls the game for St Louis on offense. There is more signings of course that helps the team like Tim Parker, Joakim Nilsson, and many more but those are the main people who help this club be where it’s at right now.

St Louis Sc has brought excitement to the game of soccer with their high pressing tactic, and their team chemistry that grew so fast during the short period of soccer they had this season. With those being the reasons why their doing so well, I can see this team competing with some of the best teams in the MLS with St Louis being the one holding the trophy at the end.
