Fun Fall Festivities

Fun+Fall+Festivities

In case you have not heard, Summer is almost over and fall is near! To be exact, Fall starts on September 23, and although it is not as enjoyable as the sunny summer months, there is a certain chill in the air that leaves us longing for the Holidays. In the meantime, if you find yourself with nothing to do, below are top 5 of the most popular fall pastimes to hopefully inspire you to add to your fall bucket list!

  1. If you are looking for a weekend getaway, taking a scenic train ride would be the perfect fall activity for you. Not only is it affordable with rates starting as low as $40 per person, but it is a unique experience that will leave you memorized at mother natures’ workings.
  2. If you are looking for something closer to home, there are many upcoming fall festivals to attend in the St. Louis area. In case you have never been to a fall festival, expect to indulge in delicious apple cider and to take a five mile hayride around the vicinity of the festival.
  3. Food is an important part of every season. Although you can eat anything you want at any time during the year, some things are just more enjoyable during certain seasons. Caramel candy apples are not only perfectly delicious for a fall treat, but also are simple to make. All you need is apples, caramels, and milk.
  4. Backyard Bonfires are perfect for fall! Usually during the fall nighttime, it is not too cold but yet not hot at all, ideal for a little warmth by the fire. Add some smores and invite some friends to attend your backyard backfire, and you’re looking at a fine recipe for fun!
  5. If you ever want to document your fall memories to keep as a nostalgic memory, then a fall themed photoshoot would be ideal for you! You can hire a professional photographer or you can have a friend take pictures of you enjoying the beautiful fall aroma. Some popular fall photoshoot themes include posing with a pumpkin and holding a leaf.
