Brooke Batson is a junior at Granite City High School. Brooke is best known for being a dancer and is involved in many clubs. She is a part of Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), Foreign Language Club (FLC), Renaissance, Science Club, a former member of the GCHS dance team, and the secretary of Student Council. Apart from school, she dances and teaches at Studio E Dance in Edwardsville. She loves spending most of her time working hard and improving in dance. Brooke also attends Grace East Church almost every Sunday with her family. Spending quality time with her family and friends is an important aspect in her life. Brooke also loves writing. She is now a staff writer for Granite High World. Brooke loves journalism and can’t wait to see what is to come of it this school year.
